The East of England Co op Band was originally formed in 1982. In 1992 the band was delighted to accept sponsorship from the Ipswich and Norwich Co-operative Society (now known as the East of England Co-operative Society) and has been a thriving contesting band throughout this time.
The band currently competes in the Championship Section of the National Brass Band Association having been promoted in 2022. As well as contesting, we perform at a number of concerts and events across East Anglia. If you would like to talk to us about a potential booking, please contact us through this site.
2022 was the band’s 40th Anniversary which was commemorated with a number of special events. If you would like to see the band in action, please look at our Events page for details of where we will be playing.
